i had wanted this for FPS games, so that you could accurately point and shoot like a PC. With the regular PS2 controller, you don't get that calibrated accuracy that a keyboard/ Mouse combination offers for pinpoint shooting.

I bought this adapter (after a long search!) under the impression that i would be able to do the same for a PS2 based FPS game as well. Although the adapter works well, the real output your looking for is not there and it tends to be a bit lethargic and sluggish in its movement, I tried it in various different environments also. For example, in Ghost Recon, by this time you do a good 360 degree frontal camera rotate and point your rifle, it takes a delay and awhile to adjust your stance, esp true when you have an automatic rifle(resembles a low RAM on high graphics hungry application in a comp)

so in that regards, if your a recent convert from the PC to PS2 (or 3) platform , i would say.. Practice, Practice, Practice until you get the PS2 controller to work to your intent for FPS games. This is not that useful as you may think it is, especially, in fast paced FPS action games.
