Max & The Magic Marker (Demo Available) – Max & the Magic Marker is a physics based 2D platform game, in which the player controls the boy Max and his Magic Marker. While Max enables good old platforming fun, the marker provides the game's signature feature: the ability for the player to draw directly inside the game world where everything drawn becomes physical objects. This feature is used to complete levels and overcome challenges but it also provides the player with a unique tool that in itself is fun to play around with.

PS2 Classics

Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland – Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland takes the popular series in a whole new direction, offering a deeper and more robust role-playing experience. It might be best described as a ‘Life Simulation’.

Raiden III – Raiden III for PlayStation 2 is a port of the classic arcade shooter, complete with a stage select mode that lets you replay stages once you’ve cleared them. The series has transitioned from its 2D roots to 3D, creating lush environments, devastating explosions and countless enemies, without a drop in frame-rate. Two players can play together to push back the invading forces, just like in the arcade!

Bloodrayne – As the vampiric agent BloodRayne, you’ll travel through the eerie swamps of Louisiana, to Argentina and Germany in this battle-heavy, third-person thriller. The game features non-linear gameplay in more than 40 levels and three massive worlds, the ability to suck blood for health, and to use slow-motion, zoom and aura visions to aid in death dealing. Pull off fantastic acrobatic moves to bend the environment to your will and dispatch enemies with BloodRayne’s blades and kicks for awesome in-your-face combat.

All Zombies Must Die! Brings Big Heads and Zombies to PlayStation Home

Hello! You may remember Doublesix Games from 2009's Burn Zombie Burn! We're clearly not done murdering zombies. In our upcoming arcade-RPG All Zombies Must Die! the idea is simple: you kill all zombies. It's one of those 'it does what it says in the title' kind of things. The game is a mix of weapons-based arena combat and light RPG elements and pits a Gamer, a Girl, a Mad Scientist and an Alien against six billion zombies to defend the world's supply of delicious, supple brains. All Zombies Must Die! drops up to four players into the town of Deadhill, where they must mow their way through ranks of brain-hungry monsters with a variety of weaponry while completing quests served up by the game's gripping storyline. We're combining elements of action and role-playing, including character leveling, weapons crafting and numerous quests. The graphics reflect the silly yet sinister nature of the gameplay with a bright, comic style. All Zombies Must Die! will be hitting the PlayStation Network later this year.

But before the game releases, we've got something special in the works for PlayStation Home folks, just in time for Halloween. With the All Zombies Must Die! "Big Head Pack", now available in the PlayStation Home Mall, you'll be able to don oversized heads of two characters from the game: Jack the gamer and Luxo the alien. In addition to this, a third mask allows you to shuffle about PlayStation Home as one of the titular zombies. (Note: please remember to groan and shout "braaaaaiiiiiinnnnnns" if you're going to do this)

While clearly zombies are horrific creatures that should be peppered with shotgun shells on sight (all zombies must die, remember?), wouldn't it be nice to have one of the little green fellas ambling along beside you? Indeed it would. To compliment the first Big Head Pack, PlayStation Home will also be getting six companions on Monday, October 31st; two zombies and four mutants, who will faithfully trot along beside your avatar. With your comically oversized head and a pet mutant shuffling about by your side, you'll certainly be conveying the right image this Halloween.
The Big Head Pack sells for $ 3.99, giving you all three heads for both male and female avatars, while the lovable zombie companions will sell individually for $ 2.99

For more information, 'like' All Zombies Must Die! on Facebook, or take a gander at the official AZMD site.

Mass Effect 3 Co-op Report: All 4 One

Mass Effect 3 for PS3: Co-op

Yes, Virginia, there is a multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3. And it's in the form of a galaxy-spanning PSN cooperative campaign that pits two to four players against wave after wave of relentless Reaper forces. In this way, the basic premise of Mass Effect 3's Galaxy at War co-op mode is not unlike Call of Duty's Nazi Zombies or Modern Warfare 2's Spec Ops, only with the series' robust RPG progression system making the jump in full force.

In my demonstration of Galaxy at War, Bioware's team first teased what looked to be a large, interactive map that will enable teams to hop into different theaters of war spread around the galaxy. You won't be able to port your Commander Shepard into the co-op Galaxy at War mode; instead, you'll create a new character from scratch, earning XP by slaying enemies and completing objectives. The co-op scenarios are heavily combat focused, though simple objectives — such uploading computer files or disarming bombs — creep in from time to time. The pace is fast-paced and grueling, and your goal is simple: outlast your Reaper attackers.

Mass Effect 3 for PS3: Co-op

Galaxy at War's progression is wave-based and hierarchical, beginning with squads of grim-faced Assault Troopers before escalating into laser-rifle-toting Nemesis assassins and hulking Atlas mechs (and worse, presumably). As you mow down the Reaper forces, you'll accumulate weapons and assign new gun mods and skills before topping off at a level cap of 20 — just like in the single-player game.

In the heat of the Reaper onslaught, melee attacks, tech powers, and biotics are critical to your survival, so choosing co-op partners with complementary skills and equipment will be a key consideration. As an example, a well-timed Tech skill such as Incinerate or Overload can zap a shielded enemy, giving your teammate a moment to slink to safety and finish the job; a Biotic expert can Pull enemies out of cover to expose them to gunfire. As in any co-op game, communication will be key. One immediately helpful UI touch: you can easily spot your teammates through walls via ghostly outlines.

Mass Effect 3 for PS3: Co-opMass Effect 3 for PS3: Co-op

Single-player purists can stop worrying: Mass Effect 3's story-focused campaign will still be a strictly solo affair. Galaxy at War, however, provides a rare opportunity to experiment with a plethora of character builds away from the stiff consequences of the single-player battlefield, and bust some Reaper heads with your friends. Playing the multiplayer mode will also unlock certain content in the single-player campaign, though exactly what that content is remains a mystery for now.

Are you interested in learning more about Mass Effect 3's new co-op mode, or are you sticking to the single-player campaign? Leave your answers in the comments!
