It’s another lazy spring Saturday, and once again I’m battling hay fever — as well as a few rampaging supervillians, now that I’ve found some time to catch up with Batman: Arkham City. This week saw a smattering of interesting developments: I spoke with NIS America about three upcoming PS3 exclusive RPGs, MLB 12 The Show served up a fresh set of fantasy predictions, Assassin’s Creed III’s creative director answered our questions (and guest starred on PlayStation Blogcast!), MLB.TV gave an opening-day update, BioShock Infinite unleashed the Siren, and the team behind Wheels of Destruction showed off a new multiplayer class and the game’s weapon loadout.
In other news, PAX East kicks into gear late next week! And while Jeff, Rey and I won’t be on-site this year, we will be keeping close tabs on any pertinent new game details that may slip out of the community-focused event.

I could not believe that I found this. My husband thought it was the coolest thing and he just had to have it. When it arrived I was pleased with the size and the coloring. It is not very big, but it does get peoples attention. If you are a fan of any of the Resident Evil games or movies, or both, and you want to let others know then this is the perfect choice.

The decal is very nice and it looks authentic. It was shipped quickly, however it was only shipped in an envelope with nothing to keep it from bending. Luckily it didn't.

I think most people would agree the first game was the better of the two. That being said, I don't agree with many people saying the game is bad or not that great. This is a really good game. Someone below had said it was short..... They must be used to playing oblivion or something because this game was longer than the first. I was glad to be done with it by the time the end came around.
The graphics are really nice. They are like an updated version of the first game. There's a few bugs that drove me nuts such as an enemy shooting through a wall that's supposed to be cover. Glitch. This game features shooting through cover such as wood or plastic, but i'm speaking of actual walls. You can see their rifle sticking out of it. Another annoyance is the fact that you can die if someone shoots your hands alot. I understand that you can do that to your enemy, but still. The game only crashed on me once. I closed to desktop, restarted the game and was fine. The new patch seemed to work fine for me. As for the setting, I thought the levels were very nicely laid out. Yes the casinos in the first one were really cool and fun, but there's alot more to vegas than just that. The story was revolving around catching someone, not just fighting your way through things.
Gameplay is the same. There's a whole experience/level up scheme to this game that can be a little cheap with the weapons. There should've at least been the same weapons available as in the first game. You end up having to level up and use certain strategies to get the items you want. It's annoying, but I thought it was cool leveling up. In this game you tend to get hurt alot more than the first one on normal difficulty. Even with the heaviest gear on I found I was dying alot more. There's even a level where you're by yourself! It's neat because you can be more stealthy. Most of the time in both games you'll pass an invisible tripwire on the map and enemies start pouring from everywhere despite how quiet you were being. In this level, you can avoid alot of fighting simply by sneaking around and pulling out your trusty silenced pistol. The end fight is about as obnoxious as the first game except if you die, you have to go through a cutscene over and over and over.
The story is good. I liked it. The main twist isn't much of a shocker, but hey, it's tom clancy. I was disappointed in some of the new voices for the same characters though. Logan's voice is different which just threw me off because whoever did his voice in the first game was fantastic and unique. This time it's just some american without an accent. I'm pretty sure Mike's (the heavy gunner on your team) voice is different too. Jung and Gabe is still the same.
All in all I liked the game. It dragged on a little towards the end, but I enjoyed it almost all the time. I'm glad I waited for the price to drop. Amazon is selling now for 20 bucks which is definitely a good buy in my opinion. Pick this one up. It's worth the play.

When I played this game for the first time, I freaked (in a good way). I once thought that nothing could tarnish my love for Call of Duty (except for Black Ops). I was wrong. Here is the comparison head on:
Graphics:
Not as good as the Call of Duty game that came out the same year as this game, but they get the job done. Besides, the gameplay MORE than makes up for that.
Controls:
They need a tiny bit of work, but it takes literally 10 seconds to change them and hop back in the game. If you want the best experience, you should change a few of your buttons as I did. As follows:
Right Click = Zoom your gun Left Click = Shoot F = Take Cover
Storyline:
Short and sweet. I give the storyline 3 stars. Why? It was too short. The Gameplay is great but.....the ending is a cliffhanger that is not answered.
Customization:
You make a soldier. Literally. You choose skin color, weapons, armor, and clothes. It's really fun...and no, this is not Sims 3 so don't expect to make a perfect recreation of you.
Multiplayer:
All I have to say is, fun fun fun. Hours of fun...even more.
I am 11 years old and I like this game even more than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 & 2.

I really wanted to like this game. I was really hoping this was going to be a more polished version of Vegas 1. Instead the game seems to have started that way but was pushed out the door long before completion.
The story mode seems to feature more attention to detail than the rest of the game. Multi-player story mode is fairly nice as far as the maps and the gameplay. I really wish they had not trimmed it down to just 2 players in that mode. The AI teammates controlled by player 1, are not incredibly useful other than to act as cannon fodder, luring out bots that have phenomenal accuracy and psychic tracking abilities. The overall storyline is quite forgettable IMHO.
Other gametypes are hindered. Terrorist Hunt has numerous issues. The way the bots 'spawn' in is downright hideous at times. Features have been taken from the control of the player such as the number of respawns. There are countless bugs in the game some major, and many minor. They scream "unfinished" or "hastily slapped together" and it is my belief that this game was released before it was completed. These hinder what would otherwise be a very fun installment of Vegas.
