Apparently this is the last year for EA-FIFA for PS2. It is a great game, but not much different from FIFA10. They added some ball holding and target man gimicks that are usually only used by the AI, I haven't figured it out yet. I usually play in Career Mode as a Manager. It is fun to manage the team make trades, negotiate contracts as well as play the game. One thing I find wierd is that the game doesn't know who's winning at half time, the team that is winning has that depressed body language and the losing team look all proud and puffy chested. However by the end of the game the winners are happy. There are many more features that I have not explored yet. If you are a football (soccer) fanatic and love the game, this is a great product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun game, but little diffrent from FIFA 10, July 27, 2011
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: FIFA Soccer 11 (Video Game)
Let me begin by saying that if this is you have never player a FIFA game or haven't played one in recent years, this is a fantastic game.

I was very impressed with FIFA 10, so I purchased FIFA 11 when it came out. I was disappointed in the similarities between the two years. It seems like nothing was changed. The graphics, commentary, and game play are all nearly identical to FIFA 10 save for a few new ball stalls for the AI. Although the game is still loads of fun, I expected more improvement this year.

If you're like me and loved playing manager mode on FIFA 10, you may also be disappointed with this year's effort. One of the few changed made this year was in the free agent market. In manager mode, you can no longer sign free agent players in your first year. In FIFA 10, I would always take control of a club, sell most of the players and sign the best free agents available. This is no longer a possibility. Other than that, manager mode has stayed the same.

If you like FIFA 10, you will enjoy FIFA 11. Don't expect it to be terribly different though. If it wasn't for the updated rosters on FIFA 11, I would have stuck with FIFA 10.
